Rustlers Face Masks
RM Rustlers have purchased Association face masks that will be arriving soon! Each registered athlete will be receiving one mask at no charge. Additional masks are available for $10 each.
Over the summer many participated in hockey camps and many rinks seem to have different standards for social distancing and mask wearing. We realize this can be confusing and would like to be very consistent in our messaging, as per Via Sport Phase 3 return to sport guidelines: “If physical distancing cannot be maintained, masks should be worn” - released on Aug 24th, Page 23. We recommend that all athletes and spectators enter the arena wearing a face mask. Once socially distanced at assigned spots in the arena, removal of the facemask can be done for those that feel more comfortable without a mask.
Any face covering is acceptable but we have purchased these two ply Poly/Cotton face masks with adjustable ties that are suitable for children and adults. As stated above, one will be given to your athlete but you can also pre-order any additional Ridge Meadows Face Masks while supplies last for $10 at the link below.
All face mask orders will be picked up at Pitt Meadows Arena - details to follow.
We are all very excited for the upcoming hockey season to begin and that is why it is so important for us to proceed following BC health guidelines and ensure a safe return to play in this very trying and abnormal year.
