We have 3 levels of sponsorship available - Gold $5000, Silver $3500 and Bronze $2000.  These sponsorships are not specific to any event or item, and will be recognized at all tournaments and RMMHA events.  It is at the discretion of the association how these funds will be used to offset operating costs, including development, equipment and events.  Sponsors will be recognized through the RMMHA website, social media, digital media and publications.  Exposure will be relative to the level of sponsorship.

To recognize outstanding contributions to Rustlers community and culture, we will highlight players, coaches, volunteers and teams on a regular basis.  This type of sponsorship will provide at least 6 (Oct - Mar) social media posts per season.  Sponsors will also be expected to provide swag to each monthly winner (suggested minimum value of $100 per month)

Rustler of the Month ($1500 + winner prize costs) recognizes a player or goalie from each division (A/C/H) who has demonstrated exceptional Rustler values of Respect Desire Pride.  Nominations for these awards will be made by team officials.

Coach Spotlight ($1500 + winner prize costs) recognizes one of our many dedicated coaches for their commitment to developing young athletes.

Rustlers in the Community ($1500 + winner prize costs) profiles individuals, groups or teams who have engaged positively with our Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows communities. Teams and individuals will be asked to use approved hashtags and a selection committee will choose one to highlight each month. This is where we can focus on our role of “developing great people” as opposed to only “developing great hockey players”.  A section of the website devoted to community engagement will provide examples of HOW to be involved in the community.

Volunteer Shout Out ($1500 + winner prize costs) is our way of thanking our valued volunteers for the work they do to keep our association running smoothly. Anyone can submit a story of volunteerism via a link on the website.

Each season we say good bye to 10-12 Rustlers as they “age out” of Minor Hockey after completing their U21 eligibility. Many of these athletes have spent 15+ years with our association. This sponsorship will allow each player to receive a Rustlers keepsake jersey with their name bar on it, and a small appreciation event where the sponsor can assist with presentation.

Please note that the sponsor will be acknowledged to players and families in media and print, but we are unable to offer logo placement on the actual jersey. This is a Rustler tradition, and whomever sponsors will be offered first opportunity to do so in subsequent years.

There are a variety of sponsorship and donation options available during hockey tournaments.  These range from tournament specific events, to raffle basket donations and athlete swag.  Depending on the tournament there will be player of the game awards, skills competitions, scoreboards, trophies, swag bags and more.

Teams will be soliciting raffle basket and silent auction donations for tournaments throughout the season, however donations of this sort are welcome at any time.  We will either utilize them to augment tournament donations or other miscellaneous prizes/draws.  Complete this contact form if you would like to donate.  

Association Events that present a prime opportunity for sponsor visibility.  Association events including the awards night, AGM, volunteer appreciation night.  If you would like to be a part of any of the association events, please complete this contact form. 

Spirit Nights are an opportunity for sponsorship and association level fundraising.  For example, a local pub or restaurant may host a Rustlers Spirit Night where RMMHA promotes it and asks patrons to wear their Rustler fan gear.  In return for filling the house the pub or restaurant would pay RMMHA  a commission based on food and beverage sales during the event. The Pub or restaurant may also offer specials to Rustlers customers to entice business and repeat patronage. Please complete this contact form to discuss further.

Rustlers host a golf tournament in September of each year.  Sponsorship engagement is specific to this event.  Watch the RMMHA website and social media for details, or complete this contact form to let us know you would like to be added to our contact list for the 2023 tournament.

Contact Sabriena with your idea/need and we'll connect you with one of our 65+ teams and get everyone pointed in the right direction. You'll be surprised what youthful energy and a bit of community spirit accomplishes. This is our way of saying thank you to our supportive community and donations are appreciated where appropriate.  Some activities may present an opportunity for older athletes to work with and mentor the younger athletes.  Photos and stories of Rustlers engaging with our community will be shared by our association.

Examples of engagements may include food drives, Christmas hampers, leaf raking, snow removal…the options are endless.  All activities must be appropriate and safe for youth volunteers, and are subject to participant availability and approval by the RMMHA Board.
