New Athlete Registration
NEW ATHLETE REGISTRATION IN TEAMSNAP WILL OPEN JUNE 1, 2024 AT 9AM*
STEP 1: Submit your intake documents by choosing your athlete type in the dropdowns below. DO NOT EMAIL DOCUMENTS IN.
STEP 2: Wait for an email from the Registrar with your Hockey ID number and the link to the online Teamsnap Registration Form
STEP 3: Once you have received the number and the link, register online.
DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN HOCKEY ID NUMBER IN SPORDLE!

2) Copy of Birth Certificate OR Passport - NEXUS cards are NOT accepted.
3) Proofs of your address – see below
4) Please scan all documents AS INDIVIDUAL FILES and upload them to this >>> online form <<<. FILE SIZE OF EACH MUST NOT EXCEED 1000 KB EACH!
5) Please ensure you are familiar with our Cancellation and 'A' Program Registration Policies
6) Once the Registrar as generated a hockey ID number and provided it to you, you can then register on Teamsnap.

5) Proof of Status in Canada
a) Canadian Citizenship Card or copy of confirmation of application of Citizenship (including file #)
b) Permanent Residents Card or copy of confirmation of application of permanent residency (including file #)
6) Passport
7) Letter from parents requesting unlimited transfer indicating that the whole family has moved to Canada permanently (sample here)
8) IIHF Letter Of Approval – International Transfer (Note: you do not have to obtain the signature or approval from the other National Federation). Please include this even if athlete has never played hockey.
9) IIHF UTC - Unlimited Transfer Card Request Please include this even if the athlete has never played hockey.
10) US CITIZENS ONLY: HC Written Transfer - Letter of Approval
11) Please scan all documents AS INDIVIDUAL FILES and upload them to this >>> online form <<<. FILES SHOULD NOT EXCEED 1250 KB EACH!
12) Please ensure you are familiar with our Cancellation and 'A' Program Registration Policies

5) Proof of Primary Medical Coverage (BC Services Card) or Out of Country - Primary Medical Insurance
6) Letter from Parent/Guardian requesting permission for their child to play hockey
7) Letter of support from Homestay Parents

10) IIHF Unlimited Transfer Card Request Form. Please include this even if athlete has never played hockey.
11) Letter of Release from former association/team.
12) Declaration of Move without Parent form

PROOF OF RESIDENCY
For proofs of address, please submit the following:
- BC DL or BC ID and CAR INSURANCE, PLUS ONE OF:
- Hydro Bill
- Cable/Satellite Bill
- Gas Bill
- Utility Bill
- Property Tax Bill
All proofs of address must be no older than 2 months. Bills must show the entire full page bill, including name and address.
Note: We cannot accept telephone/cellular bills, bank or credit card statements as acceptable proofs of address.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SUBMITTING ALL NEW PLAYER DOCUMENTATION IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED FORMAT WILL RESULT IN THE ATHLETE NOT BEING ALLOWED ON THE ICE.
