Meet Your 2023 - 2024 RMMHA Board

Nick Davis - President
I’ve coached in the RMMHA for the past nine years and hope to continue for years to come. I’ve also coached soccer, softball, baseball and ball hockey and am always looking for opportunities to develop my coaching abilities.
My wife Kellie and I moved to Maple Ridge in 2009 and we have a son (Kolby) and daughter (Hailey). I may not have played a super high level of hockey, but I grew up playing minor hockey from the age of 4 until I was 17. Nearly every one of my favourite memories growing up has to do with hockey, hockey teams and hockey friends. Today, although scattered around BC and Alberta, most of my closest friends are the friends I played hockey with from the time I was 4 years old.
This is what I hope for our athletes. We need to focus on player development, but I also think we need to focus on growing a love for the game and instilling life skills and character traits that will benefit each player for the rest of their life. As an association, we win if our athletes look forward to the next practice, game and season.

Brad Scott - VP Administration

Peter Mandoli - VP 'A' Hockey
I have been a part of RMMHA coaching for the last 6 years and have met so many good people along the way. My wife and I both grew up in Coquitlam & moved to Maple Ridge to raise our 2 kids. I started minor hockey late at 9 years old and was drafted at 14 by the Spokane Chiefs (WHL). I ended up playing 4 years of junior hockey in the KIJHL, BCHL and OPJHL before moving onto university. I attended UBC where I was a student/athlete, academic all-Canadian & received a BSc in mathematics. After graduation I pursued a career in Financial Planning. I continue to play beer league today with friends that I met in minor hockey.

Devon Sivecki - VP 'H' Hockey
Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association has been at the centre of my life since I was five years old. I have been a player, a referee, and a coach. My first job was working at Bill’s Skate Shop, where I’ve sharpened more skates than I can count and learned there is always work to be done.
I am following in the example set by my Dad, who not only coached my brother and I, but served on the Board of Directors as Referee In Chief. My Dad showed me the importance of being a volunteer.
Together with my wife, Kim, we love watching our boys grow up in this association and are grateful for all of the volunteers who work to make minor hockey happen.
My goal for this season is to help the Board in creating a culture that allows all of our Rustler families to love this game and get as much from it as I have.

Sarah Bunten - Secretary and Communications Director
My husband and I moved to Maple Ridge in 2015 with our 2 boys Bradley 11 and Jack 10 who are very close in age. I have been involved with RMMHA for 3 years as a division manager. I am a hockey loving stay at home mom who enjoys volunteering with the hockey association. We have made some wonderful friendships that started because of our love for the game.

Nick Della Peruta - Risk Manager
I have coached and volunteered for over 11 years with the association. Having grown up in Metro Vancouver I moved to the Ridge Meadows area with my wife and 3 children in 2008.
My goal is to help guide the association through these very important upcoming years. I hope to work with the team (our board and its members) to make Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey association even better for all of our athletes and parents.

Sabriena Eyford - Director of Community Engagement

Tom Willard - Director of Coaching & Development

Dale Lupul - Tournament Director
I grew up playing minor hockey in Poco. My hockey path included two years with the Ridge Meadows Flames, three years JR A for the Burnaby Bulldogs, four years at University of Wisconsin Superior, five years in the minor leagues in Louisiana and New York with an NHL tryout for the New York Islanders.
This will be my 7th year in Rustlers hockey as my son Ashton enters his first year of U13 as well as coaching last season. I have a passion for coaching and enjoy being on the ice with the kids.
My favourite sports besides hockey include lacrosse, golf, and slo-pitch.
I am a Burnaby Firefighter as well as have a rustic furniture company called Rustic Meadows that I work along side my wife, Jerra.
I look forward to returning to the BoD and continue working with everyone in the Rustlers association for years to come.
