INFORMATION FOR NEW REFEREES
(Note: referees for the 2019-20 season must be at born in or before 2007)
The new officials clinic will be held Sept 19, 2018 at Samuel Robertson Technical School (10445 245 St, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 2G4).
The clinic will start with registration at 4:30. There will be no on ice session for this clinic - your child will need to attend an RMMHA on ice session prior to being able to be assigned their first game.
We do not have the class number yet but we will meet in the central cafeteria just inside the main entrance. (Please disregard the login on Hockey Canada website that says the clinic is being held at Planet Ice).
There are 28 referee openings per week, so we have capped registration at 30 new officials. Please consider this prior to registering: the new officials will spend the majority of the season in the Initiation Program (H).
Prior to registering for the clinic your child will need to complete the Hockey University online program for New Officials. This can be searched in your Hockey Canada account under "Sign up for a clinic".

This information is being sent to over 40 potential officials. Please take consideration in the fact that your child will start with getting 1 game per week if all new officials are available to cover games.
