A Message from our President

Rustlers Families,
On behalf of the RMMHA board of directors we hope you are all safe, healthy and well.  In these uncertain and unprecedented times we realize how grateful we are to have our families and friends to lean on for support. Our hearts go out to anyone who has suffered from the COVID-19 virus both directly and indirectly. We understand we have many Rustler families who are essential workers and fighting this virus from the front lines. We THANK YOU.
We understand that the impact of the COVID-19 is far reaching and has impacted many families financially. We want to assure you all that we will do our best to ensure your child is able to participate in the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
With the uncertainty of the upcoming season, one of our priorities will be planning our season with the attitude of business as usual until told otherwise. We will be following the guidelines set by Hockey Canada, BC Hockey and the PCAHA.
We as a board have many new and exciting ideas for the upcoming season.  We encourage you to take some time to reflect on this past season to send us any feedback on what works well, or what might be missing. Please reach out if you have any concerns or questions.
The board of directors pledge that we will work closely and communicate openly with all of our members in order to represent your child’s best interests. This year we want to communicate more to the membership through our Teamsnap, Facebook and NEW Instagram account. (@Rustlernation) Stay tuned for the latest challenges set out to our athletes to help keep everyone active and healthy.
In closing, I would like to thank all of our volunteers past, present and future for the countless hours and sacrifices that they make in order for our association to be successful. Their hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated. I would encourage anyone wishing to volunteer or assist the association to do so, as the continued success of our organization depends largely on volunteers and the participation of our members. We can all play a part in making hockey a positive experience for our parents and players.
